Insight
While I gained many insights on how challenging it can get to do the simplest things such getting my mail or even cleaning my butt, I decided to focus on the quality of living through just "viewing" the environment.
The inside of our wrists is one of the most temperature sensitive parts of our body. Furthermore, the sense of touch is often sharper for people who cant see.
ViVi uses a camera to capture the environment and simplifies the picture into simple color spread. The bracelet translates the colors into temperatures and transfers it to the users wrist.
ViVi senses the environment and alerts the user of obstacles by getting warmer as they get close to them. This feature allow users to navigate certain environments without a white cane.
